Chamber:

Salt Fog Start Up Package

SCCH 20, 21 & 22 (Part# 500110) / SCCH 23, 24 & 26 (Part# 500111)

Everything needed to run an ASTM B117 or similar test. Includes 80 cm2 funnels, graduated cylinders, stoppers, one 50 lb bag of salt, Package of 25 filter cloths, and 1 specific gravity hydrometer. All items comply with ASTM B117. Also available as individual items. Included with purchase of new SCCH chamber.

External Condensate Collection Package

SCCH 20, 21 & 22 (Part# 500120) / SCCH 23, 24 & 26 (Part# 500140)

Provides external sampling of fog condensate collection without opening chamber. Complete with condensation collector assemblies mounted externally on stand and piped to collector funnels mounted in exposure zone.

Exhaust and Drain:

Exhaust Condenser (Part# 503300-503305)

City water is used to condense and flush chamber’s exhaust to a floor drain. Assembly connects to exhaust fitting on chamber. Uses up to .5 gpm of tap water.

Wet Bottom Drain Assembly I (Part# 503320)

Special drain assembly allows wet bottom conditions in exposure zone. Maintains 1'-2"of water in the bottom of the exposure zone.

Wet Bottom Drain Assembly II (Part# 503321)

Special drain assembly allows wet bottom conditions in exposure zone. Maintains 6"-8" of water in the bottom of the exposure zone. Included with Humidity Chambers.

Exhaust Re-Circulating Condenser System I

SCCH 20, 21 & 22 (Part# 503350) / SCCH 23, 24 & 26 (Part# 503360)

System condenses and collects chamber exhaust into a separate reservoir that is mounted on the same stand as the solution reservoir included with the chamber. System is completely self-contained, no outside vent or floor drain required.

Solution Chiller System (Part# 503355)

Add-on to 503350 or 503360. Chills the water for more effective condensation of exhaust.

Salt Solution Convenience:

Auxiliary Mixing and Storage Reservoir (Part# 503600)

Separate 55 gallon reservoir with re-circulating pump and filtration system for uniform solution makeup. Pump system also permits easy transfer of solution to test apparatus. Includes air sparger system for unattended mixing of salt solution. Mounted on a portable stand with casters.

Solution Mixing Assembly (Part# 999999)

Can be installed on 55 gallon solution reservoir that is included with automatic DI fill option. Same mixing, pumping, filtration and control systems as included on option # 503600.

CASS Test Solution Valve Assembly (Part# 504000)

Solution valve assembly that conforms to ASTM B368 CASS test specification.

Control and Monitoring:

Communication System (Part# 860350)

Networkable temperature controllers allow connection to a computer to configure, monitor, and log exposure zone wet bulb, dry bulb and humidifying tower temperatures. Requires GUI software, 860600.

Graphical User Interface Software (Part# 860600)

When used in conjunction with 860350, adjustment, monitoring, and data logging of exposure zone wet bulb, dry bulb and humidifying tower temperatures can be done with a few clicks of the mouse. Data files can be used to eliminate the need for a chart recorder.

Temperature Recorder, Single Pen

24 hour (Part# 504800) / 7 day (Part# 504801)

Records temperature within the exposure zone. One pen recorder with 10" circular chart.

Temperature Recorder, Two Pen

24 hour (Part# 504802) / 7 day (Part# 504803)

Records wet and dry bulb temperature within the exposure zone for relative humidity (RH) determination. Two pen recorder with 10" circular chart.

Test Packages:

Humidity Test Package (Part# 502012-502017)

Adds ASTM D 2247 and ASTM B380 humidity testing capability to a standard salt fog chamber. Includes air bubbler / distribution pipe assembly, wet-bottom drain assembly to maintain 6”- 8” water in bottom of chamber, valves and fittings provided for connection to the chamber. Replaces the Opti-Fog tower. Included as standard feature in Humidity Chambers.

Solution Spray / Rainfall Test Manifold - SCCH 20, 21 & 22 (Part# 504840)

For rainfall testing, Assembly includes water distribution manifold with multiple nozzles to provide spray over the entire exposure zone. Water regulator controls included.

Multi-Test Control Package (Part# 504855)

Microprocessor based programmable logic controller (PLC) enables standard salt fog, purge and soak functions in sequence. Operator programs frequency and duration of cycles. Mounted in a NEMA-12 enclosure. Indicator lights provide easy-to-read status of test functions.

Gas Accessory Package (Part# 504860)

ASTM G87 and Kesternich Testing, moist SO2 gas feed and purge. Package includes SO2 flow meter with needle valve, gas dispersion apparatus, solenoid valve and fittings. Package does not include gas cylinder or regulator.

ASTM G85 (A4) & NADC 77252-30, cyclic SO2 with continuous salt fog. Package includes SO2 flow meter with needle valve, gas dispersion apparatus, solenoid valve and fittings. Package does not include gas cylinder or regulator.
